Modern design elements
Kani house is a casual dining concept with modern design elements that combine with traditional Asian fixtures. Each location features an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and comfortable. The logo is enlarged to make it easy to recognize and place over the Etudes logo. The signature stripes are also enlarged and used in baseball hats, denim jackets and linen anoraks. The capsule collection will be sold at Ssense and will be available in stores starting in March.

The chic dining atmospheres feature a mix of modern and classic fixtures. The mini loepia and safari squeezers in each Kani House location feature classic Asian designs. For a true Japanese dining experience, head to the Buford, Georgia, restaurant, Kani House. Open since 1999, this family-owned restaurant offers a wide variety of Japanese food. It’s not just about the food, either – the restaurant also features live chefs preparing yakitori on steel grills, topped with vegetables, fried rice and your choice of meat. You can also order bento boxes to take home or order a vegan option.
While the space is updated, the food is authentic and the atmosphere is elegant. At Fumi, guests will find a new twist on traditional Japanese dishes. Chef Tomohiro Naito is a native of Osaka, and studied theater at Queens College. After graduating, he was hired by a Japanese trading company to handle seafood. It was there that he discovered his passion for cooking and began to specialize in sushi.
