iPhone 11 Pro Adds Face ID and Other Improvements

Apple has announced the iPhone 11 Pro, which adds Face ID and other improvements. The iPhone 11 Pro has a new six-inch OLED display with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content. It also has an A13 Bionic chip, up to 50% faster than the A12 Bionic, and other features include a new triple rear camera system with 12MP sensors, an 8MP front camera, and a wide-angle lens. The phone also supports AirPlay 2 and HomePod control, and the iPhone 11 Pro will be available in late October, starting at $999.

Apple responds to Trump’s tariffs.

Washington, D.C. – Apple has released a statement in response to President Donald Trump’s proposed tariffs on Chinese goods. The company says it will require “greater access” to the American market to compete and that any surcharges would hurt both companies.

Trump has cited China’s “unfair trade practices” as the reason for the proposed tariffs, and Apple says it is willing to work with the United States government on solutions. The company also supports ongoing investigations into China’s intellectual property policies.

Samsung unveils Galaxy S30.

Samsung’s Galaxy S30 has arrived, a significant departure from the company’s recent flagship designs. The S30 is a smaller, more compact phone that ditches the traditional physical home button in favor of an on-screen button. Samsung also redesigned the rear camera and introduced a new AI assistant called Bixby. The Galaxy S30 starts at $720 without a contract and goes up to $840 for the top-of-the-line model with 128GB of storage. Here are our top stories from MacRumors and Rossignol on the Samsung Galaxy S30:

1. The Galaxy S30 is a different kind of Galaxy flagship

The Galaxy S30 is much smaller than Samsung’s other recent flagships, measuring 159x76x8.3mm and weighing in at 158g. It doesn’t have a physical home button, instead using an on-screen button similar to what you see on Apple iPhones. It also ditches the headphone jack and uses USB Type C instead. In addition to being more compact than Samsung’s other phones, the phone lacks some features that may be familiar to users.

2. The camera is improved, but not perfect

The primary camera on the Galaxy S30 is improved over previous models, with better low-light performance and better color accuracy when taking pictures outdoors in bright sunlight. However, some reviewers say that photos taken with this phone look too artificial compared to those born with previous Samsung flagships.

3. Bixby is the new AI assistant

Samsung has introduced a new AI assistant called Bixby, designed to make your phone easier to use. You can use Bixby to control music playback, set alarms, and perform other tasks. It’s available on the Galaxy S30 and will eventually be available on other Samsung phones.

4. The Galaxy S30 starts at $720 without a contract

The Galaxy S30 is available starting at $720 without an agreement, a significant price increase over the Galaxy S29 and Galaxy Note 9. However, the top-of-the-line model with 128GB of storage costs $840.

Google Pixel 3 XL renders leak.

A new set of Pixel 3 XL renders has surfaced, giving us a closer look at the device. The renders confirm that the Pixel 3 XL will have a large notch on its display and be available in black and white. Similar to the Pixel 2 and 2XL, the front-facing camera has a light sensor and LED flash. The rear view shows off dual cameras at the back, with one vertical and one horizontal lens. Google rumors to people that they will release a foldable phone this year.

iPhone SE 2 is reportedly coming this year.

MacRumors reports that the iPhone SE 2 will be released this year. People expect apple to release a new model this year with a better camera, updated design, and faster performance than the previous model released in April 2018.

Apple Watch Series 4 review

The Apple Watch Series 4 is available now, and we’ve been testing it for a while. In this review, we’ll tell you all about the new features, how it compares to the Series 3, and whether or not it’s worth upgrading.

WatchOS 5.0 runs on Apple Watch Series 4. An Intel processor powers it. It comes in two models: a 40 mm silver case with a black Sport Band or a 44 mm Space Gray case with a navy blue Sport Band.

ECG monitoring is one of the new features of the watch. You stick a finger over the light sensor on top of the clock, and it will start recording your heart rate and ECG data. You can use this function to gather evidence during medical emergencies or accidents.

Another new feature is that you can use Ambient Mode to track your activity without taking off your watch again (assuming you have the appropriate band). Ambient Mode passively tracks movement and ambient light levels so you can see how active you are throughout the day without having to open up the app or take any unnecessary steps.

There are also several other improvements, including faster processing times, better battery life, support for wireless charging, more natural language responses from Siri, improved fitness tracking capabilities with additional sensors such as barometric pressure and stride length detection, enhanced dictation support for text messages, and support for hands-free calling with the new Apple Watch Series 4 FaceTime camera.

Should you upgrade to Series 4?

Yes, if you’re looking for an improved fitness tracker with more features and better battery life, the Series 4 is a good option.
