Meanwhile, Jessica Keenan, the Managing Director of Ascension Coffee, brings her extensive experience from Allegro Coffee, a San Francisco-based organic coffee supplier that supplies Whole Foods Market.
Ascension Coffee recently purchased two special lots from Yemen at international auctions. These beans are far more expensive than specialty house coffees, and they cost up to ten times more than those of other specialty coffee companies. Ascension’s founder departed the company in 2014 to pursue opportunities in the healthcare industry. Now, she’s back in the business and the company’s founder has joined as President.
